Through collaboration with schools, researchers, conservationists, and creatives, we aim to deepen understanding of marine ecosystems, promote stewardship of our oceans, and capture compelling imagery that inspires protection of the natural world.

Brian Filush
CaptainBrian is an experienced boater, with an intimate knowledge of the Sound and its tributaries, and makes it his priority to get you where you want to go — and back — safely and securely.
Crew; Ecological advisorIan Bradley
With a B.A. in Maritime Studies from UConn Avery Point, Ian is a passionate field guide and experienced boater. He currently works with Save the Sound on a variety of projects, including collecting ghost gear and abandoned lobster traps in the Long Island Sound.
